The voter turnout for the 2018 Ontario Provincial Election was higher than it has been since 1999 with 58% of registered voters participating. Currently 36% of the population consists of 18-34 year olds that are eligible to vote. With around a third of the population being young adults, there is a responsibility to participate or risk being unrepresented.

- On March 20th, students across Ontario walked out in protest of the province's OSAP cuts. The PC government has announced the end of free tuition for low-income students and terminated the 6-month interest-free grace period after graduation.
